Robert L. Pryor, Born in New York, New York, June 27, 1953, admitted to New York Bar 1982, and U.S. District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Education: Hobart College (B.A., magna cum laude, 1975) (Phi Beta Kappa); Hofstra University School of Law (J.D., 1981). Law Clerk to the Honorable C. Albert Parente, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, Eastern District of New York, 1983-1984; Member Panel of Trustees, Eastern District of New York 1984-present. Since 1984 Mr. Pryor has specialized in representing debtors, creditors, and trustees in consumer and business bankruptcies under Chapter 7, 11, and 13 and related adversary proceedings, and workouts. Mr. Pryor has lectured on bankruptcy issues for: The St. John’s University Metropolitan College Tax Institute and Internal Revenue Service program for accountants regarding financially troubled taxpayers; the Nassau Academy of Law; the New York Institute of Technology and Internal Revenue Service Accountants Continuing Education Program; the Commercial Industrial Brokerage Society; and the Bankruptcy Committee and the Construction Law Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association. Mr. Pryor has served as the 1993-94 Vice Chairman, Bankruptcy Committee, Nassau County Bar Association and the 1994-95 Chairman, Bankruptcy Committee, Nassau County Bar Association.
